Parking at the College
As we begin a new school year, it is important to familiarise ourselves with the parking and drop off/pick up arrangements that apply to our college context. Please take the time to read the information below to ensure the safety of our students remains a top priority.
There are 6 car parks that surround our college and a 2 minute drop off zone on Joyner Circuit. The map below shows the locations of these car parks. There are 3 car parks that are on college property and are all behind the fence line. These car parks are owned by the College and are designated for staff parking or drop off/pickup of our students with disabilities. They are shown in the blue circles on the map below. They are not suitable for general student drop off and pick up as they do not allow traffic flow safely and freely.
There are 3 car parks shown in green that are owned and managed the Moreton Bay Regional Council. These car parks are for parents to park in. These car parks and the surrounding streets are monitored by the Queensland Police Service and the Moreton Bay Council local laws enforcement team. Parents that park on a road with a yellow line, a bus zone, a no standing zone etc, can expect to be issued a parking ticket as this is illegal and endangers the safety of our students. Be aware that Moreton Bay Council inspectors do regular checks around the carparks. There is also a 2 minute “drop and go" zone in Joyner circuit, it is the purple rectangle. Please be reminded, that this is a drive through pick up/drop off zone only and parents should refrain from parking and leaving their car.
Parents are still stopping at the bus bays (red) to pick up students. This is a no-standing zone and must be kept clear for buses and for the safety of students.

Lookout Program
North Lakes State College staff, in conjunction with the department of Main Roads and transport, offer parents in Prep to Year 3 a drive through pick up service in the afternoons. College staff will collect your child from the Lookout area and walk them to your vehicle. Parents need to apply using the application form. This will then allow us to print and laminate a name card for your vehicle.
